Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins hasn't exactly been finding success when under pressure during the team's recent offensive struggles.

The Vikings are coming off a miserable 21-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, and that led to former offensive coordinator John DeFilippo being fired earlier in the week.

But that performance wasn't the first sign of trouble for the Minnesota offense, as Cousins and company have been unable to find any momentum in scoring just 17 total points in the past two games.

One reason for the offensive issues may be Cousins' inability to deliver while under pressure, according to stats from Pro Football Focus.

It doesn't take a mathematical genius to realize how drastic of a drop that Cousins has had in that category, going from one of the best in the NFL to one of the worst in the NFL when hurried.

That is one of several reasons why the Vikings now find themselves in an interesting situation when it comes to trying to lock up a playoff spot in the NFC.

Minnesota still sits in the No. 6 spot despite the loss in Seattle, and the schedule the rest of the way is pretty favorable for Mike Zimmer's squad. The Vikings will host the Miami Dolphins this weekend before finishing up the regular season with games against the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.

But even if the Vikings do make it to the postseason, they'll need Cousins to be more efficient in the passing attack moving forward.
