Given their tumultuous history as foes, Andrew Bogut is looking forward to teaming up with DeMarcus Cousins of the Golden State Warriors.

Per Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Australian briefly looked back on his history with Cousins. According to him, back when Cousins was with the Sacramento Kings, they had their fair share of battles. Now that they're teammates, its time to smoothen up the rough edges of their relationship.

“I've got to rekindle my relationship with DeMarcus Cousins because we really went at it when he was at Sac — a lot of near scuffles and holds and flagrant fouls, so I'm looking forward to being on the same team as him this time.”

After receiving clearance from the Australian team, the Sydney Kings, Bogut is now officially part of the Warriors for his second stint. To recall, during the 34-year-old's first stint, he was one of the key players of the 2015 championship team. He was the Warriors' main defensive stopper in the paint and is also regarded as one of the best passing big men in the NBA.

Given that Bogut also plays the center/power forward position, he'll likely play back up to Cousins who's the Warriors' starting big man. But since head coach Steve Kerr likes to mix things up, we could see a Cousins-Bogut frontcourt combo from time to time.
