The Golden State Warriors will be without center DeMarcus Cousins and sixth man Andre Iguodala on Monday against the San Antonio Spurs, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell.
Cousins is still pending an MRI on his right ankle/foot area after sustaining an injury in the second half of Saturday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Iguodala had a tooth extracted, meriting the rest for the first half of a back-to-back road series.
The Warriors will fly from San Antonio to The Twin Cities after the game, as they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.
Golden State will have to make due with the return of Kevin Durant and the re-introduction of Andrew Bogut after being acquired as a free agent earlier this month.
Durant is expected to go back to his regular role after missing two games with an ankle injury, while Bogut will likely come off the bench behind Kevon Looney and incorporate himself to a revamped Steve Kerr system.
Without Cousins, there will be plenty of minutes at center to share between Looney, Jordan Bell and Bogut, who will likely be eased back into the rotation.
Iguodala could come back as soon as Tuesday against the Wolves, according to how he heals from the tooth extraction.
