The Golden State Warriors finally welcomed back one superstar in point guard Steph Curry against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Unfortunately, they saw the departure of another superstar in forward Draymond Green soon thereafter.

The ever-passionate Green was the most vocal guy on the court as usual. However, he was quickly thrown out in the first half after earning his second questionable technical foul call on the night via SportsCenter:

It has been a rough week for NBA officials as the league's last two minute reports continue to shine a light on all their crucial mistakes. That said, the refs may have potentially felt the need to keep order early on between the Warriors and Grizzlies.

Needless to say, the officiating crew may have been a bit thin-skinned on this one. Based on the video, it is clear that Green did nothing out of the ordinary while contesting that calls that went against him. However, the refs clearly were not having any of it and ejected him after he played just 10 minutes. Regardless, Green still managed to make his impact by finishing with the second-most assists for the Warriors on the night (five).

Fortunately, the return of Curry helped alleviate the loss of Green early on. The two-time MVP made the most of his minutes restriction by dropping 38 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Furthermore, Golden State nearly matched their season-high in total points scored (143) with 141.
