The Golden State Warriors have been one of the best teams in basketball this season, but it has been evident in the last two months that Draymond Green was missing and how key of a piece he really is.

Warriors fans, it appears that Draymond may be returning in the near future. Anthony Slater, Warriors reporter for The Athletic, had this to report:

“Draymond Green is really “making strides,” per (Warriors coach Steve) Kerr. “Went through some 3-on-3 post practice with Wiseman. Big step. Klay Thompson is questionable for Mavericks game.”

This is fantastic news for the Warriors because while they have found ways to win games without Green, there is no disputing that they are a far better team with him on the court. He's the team's glue, and he really improves everything on both sides of the ball.

He is not only the Warriors' best defensive player, but he is also the team's most essential offensive player. He does it all, from establishing off-ball screens to passing to other guys around screens and simply making plays for other guys.

The Warriors should be overjoyed to have him back so they can get this thing rolling and show everyone that they are a strong contender to win the Western Conference and possibly the NBA title this season.
