Draymond Green's passionate clash with Kevin Durant during a 106-100 loss to the Sacramento Kings was one of the most memorable moments of the Golden State Warriors' 2016-17 championship season, as the media jumped to conclusions as the two were seen going back-and-forth during a timeout.

The two were seen going to dinner together the same night, and explained it was keeping each other accountable, as Durant's 10 points proved to be the worst scoring outing of the year besides a goose egg at the end of February when he suffered an injury in the opening minutes.

Having gone back on the memories, Durant explained that in the moment, Green wasn't just hollering at him, but something rather stronger.

“Hollered at me, ha,” said Durant, laughing off the way Janie McCauley of The Associated Press phrased the question. “We grown men, ain't nobody hollering at me.”

Durant was asked to word it how he wants to, coining the phrase in front of reporters.

“Well, we mot**rf***ed each other,” he said. “Hopefully everybody understands what that means.”

Durant and Green have kept a close-knit relationship during the past season and change, and moments of frustration sometimes manifest as turns of the tide — which ultimately made the Finals MVP more assertive taking shots and deferring less on his teammates in order to fit in.
