The Wilt Chamberlain jokes have always followed Otto Porter Jr. Now that he's on the NBA title-winning Golden State Warriors, they're reaching a crescendo.

With the NBA Finals over and the serious, on-court related questions over and done with, the media decided to finally ask Warriors players about the hard-hitting truths. Porter was asked about his take on supposedly looking like the second coming of Wilt the Stilt:

“It's crazy, you know. The Wilt Chamberlain comparisons came out, when I was still in D.C. So it's been out for a while and everybody's just now catching on, I guess.”

Scour NBA memes pages and it won't take long to find Otto Porter Jr. juxtaposed alongside one-time Warriors star Wilt Chamberlain or even seeing OPJ's face superimposed onto the Hall of Famer. He has learned to take it in stride, though, particularly now that he's played a role in reaching the NBA mountaintop with Golden State:

“But I don't mind, cause I'm a champ so it's all good,” Porter continued.

Aside from Wilt, Otto Porter Jr. has also drawn comparisons legendary singer Lionel Richie, who once attended a Warriors game that OPJ didn't play at. Mighty suspicious, if you ask me:

“And him too, by the way. But I'll take it, now that I'm a champion,” said Porter after the media moderator addressed him as Lionel Richie.

Otto Porter Jr. has likely played himself out of the Warriors‘ price range. But both sides got what they wanted from one another. Fans might have to say “Hello” to Wilt Chamberlain's long lost son in a different uniform next season.
