Moments after nailing the record-breaking three-point shot, Curry sat down with tears swelling up in his eyes. His raw emotions made it obvious how much this momentous accomplishment means to him. The NBA's Twitter account shared the emotional moment from the Warriors vs Knicks game Tuesday night.

Curry started off the night with a quick three-pointer, his first attempt of the night. This was his 2,973rd career three, which tied Ray Allen's all-time NBA record. Just a few minutes later in the first quarter, Curry drained the tie-breaking shot, Madison Square Garden erupting with energy.
