All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors now has the most 3-pointers made before missing his first attempt from long distance.

Thompson was a perfect 10-of-10 from downtown before he missed his 11th attempt. Below is his record-setting 3-pointer as posted by NBA on Twitter.

It was a much-awaited explosion from Klay Thompson who has been struggling almost all season long. As a designated shooter, the Warriors marksman has lacked consistency for the most part of the year. There have been several games wherein he did not even make a single 3-pointer. He would come out with a big game but would go back to a slump after.

Some basketball analysts believe that there is something wrong with his shot mechanics — which is a crazy theory considering how successful Thompson has been throughout his career.

Also, give Klay Thompson's personality, they very well know that after a spate of bad games, the Splash Brother will come back with an offensive outburst. And in their win over the Los Angeles Lakers, Thompson did just that.

Perhaps the real challenge now is how to ride the rhythm he created in the next games. Like they always say, consistency is what separates the great players from the good ones.
