A scary incident occurred in the first half of the Washington Football Team's Week 17 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. After attempting to catch a pass along the sideline, tight end Ricky Seals-Jones was unable to slow down his momentum and crashed into a cameraman on the sideline. Both Seals-Jones and the cameraman were shaken up in the incident, though the cameraman was able to walk off the field under his own strength. Seals-Jones, on the other hand, had to be carted off the field as a result of the collision and was immediately ruled out of the game with a neck injury. Nicki Jhabvala shared video of the play on Twitter.

As can be seen in the video, Seals-Jones runs full force into the unsuspecting cameraman, and both go hard to the ground. Trainers and medical staff surrounded the pair for quite some time before the cameraman was able to get back on their feet and exit the field.

As for Seals-Jones, the veteran tight end had to be scored off the field on a cart, and in a scary update was ruled out for the game with what's being described as a neck injury.

We're hoping Seals-Jones is able to make a full recovery from this injury, and that the cameraman was able to escape the frightening situation with nothing more than a few bruises. Our thoughts go out to Seals-Jones and the Washington Football Team as we await further updates on the status of his neck.
