Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards will be parading a new-look roster in the 2021-22 season, largely thanks to the blockbuster trade centered on Russell Westbrook. As such, chemistry is on top of Wes Unseld Jr.'s bucket list.

Fortunately for the Wizards' new head coach, Montrezl Harrell organized a players-only meeting after Friday's practice where Beal emphasized a basic yet crucial principle as they work to accomplish their goal.

Via Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington:

“[Beal] was talking about just being that one unit, doing everything together. Even today, we had a players-only meeting and that’s what we talked about; holding each other accountable and being there for each other,” Kentavious Caldwell-Pope said.

Harrell, Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Aaron Holiday all came in by way of trades. These five players will become part of the Wizards' rotation. Meanwhile, Corey Kispert and Isaiah Todd were added via the NBA Draft.

Another pressing concern for the Wizards is the future of Bradley Beal. Out of formality, the Wizards forwarded an extension offer to Beal worth $181.5 million over four years. Reports indicate Beal is in no rush to sign the contract, especially when he could put himself in a position for a five-year maximum deal worth $235 million.

For now, Beal hopes to rally his teammates as the team reels off the Westbrook trade. He'll have to start all over again in terms of acclimating himself to the Wizards' new additions.

For what it's worth, Beal has said multiple times how loyal he is to Washington, even shrugging off Westbrook's plea to move out.
