The Washington Wizards are off to a sluggish start to this season. In fact, they've lost five games in a row, and after Friday night's 134-11 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Washington's record now stands at 1-7. Some fans of the team are feeling a bit uneasy, but Bradley Beal says it's not time to hit the panic button yet.

“I'm not hitting the panic button,” Bradley Beal told ESPN after Friday's game. “I'm not hitting it and I don't think we are either as a team. We understand it's still early, it's not perfect. We understand patience is running low from everybody, from ourselves. Nobody is more disappointed than us. I'm definitely going to say that.”

Though the Wizards were defeated on Friday night, Beal had a solid outing. In his 31 minutes of playing time, the former No. 3 overall pick recorded 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field (4-of-7 from beyond the arc, 3-of-3 from the charity stripe), four assists and two rebounds.

Wizards All-Star John Wall, who posted 19 points and nine assists in Friday's game, says offense isn't the problem. Currently, Washington is allowing a league-worst 123.9 points per game, according to ESPN.

“Offense has never been a problem for us,” Wall tells ESPN. “We score the ball very well. It's just what can we do on the defensive end. Until we figure that out, we're going to have these same problems.”

The Wizards will be back in action on Sunday night, when they'll welcome the New York Knicks to Capital One Arena. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. EST.
