Bradley Beal's 47 points were not enough from being blown out 124-106 by the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. A reporter had the courage to ask the Washington Wizards star if he's frustrated with his team's recent performances amid his great numbers.

Per Fred Katz of The Athletic, Beal offered a question to the reporter's question.

The loss marks the Wizards' third consecutive defeat. They are now 3-11 in the season, the NBA's worst record. Moreover, the defeat despite Beal's monster showing adds another layer to the general sentiment that it might be time for the swingman and the team to part ways.

Beal's offensive explosions haven't led to victories. In fact, the 27-year-old two-time All-Star is the first player in NBA history to lose 10 straight games despite scoring 40-points.

Several fans were shocked by the reporter's audacious question, pointing out the simple reality that the Wizards are arguably the most awful team in the NBA this season.

Beal is having a great individual campaign, leading the NBA in scoring with 34.6 points per game on 47.5 percent shooting from the field. He's also putting up 5.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists an outing.

The Wizards entered the season with promise. With Russell Westbrook in the fold via the John Wall trade, fans expected their new star duo would lead the squad to greener pastures. But so far, things aren't looking good for the Wizards as Beal has been the lone silver lining in what has been nothing but a bleak campaign.

The trade rumors for Bradley Beal will continue, but the swingman himself has hinted that he wants to stay.
