The Washington Wiards received an unfortunate update on star guard Bradley Beal when it was announced that he would miss the team’s next two games, including their Tuesday night contest against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Wizards had said that they would provide more information after the star guard was evaluated further. Well, Beal saw a specialist on Tuesday and the update on his wrist injury wasn’t any better than the one received by the team on Monday, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Washington Wizards All-Star guard Bradley Beal met with a specialist to examine his his injured left wrist in New York today and will be re-evaluated again in approximately a week, sources tell ESPN. Beal has been experiencing swelling and some pain in the wrist.

Per Wojnarowski, Bradley Beal met with a specialist in New York, who examined his left wrist injury and provided the worrying update that the Wizards star will be re-evaluated in a week.
Perhaps the most concerning update is the fact that Beal is still feeling swelling and pain in the wrist. It’s entirely possible that the Wizards star could be feeling better after another week of rest, though it can’t make Washington fans feel very good to hear that their star will be even a bit further away from seeing game action.
Beal looks poised to miss at least another two contests following this latest wrist injury update. The Wizards can only hope that it won’t be much longer than that, given that their once-promising season is now looking a bit more foreboding in the standings by the day.
