On Friday night, Washington Wizards forward Jabari Parker did what only a few people have done in their careers: challenge Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert at the rim and successfully throw one down over him.

Parker flew in from the baseline off of a feed from Sam Dekker and was able to posterize Gobert, who was sprinting down the court to get back to the play.

Gobert is arguably the best shot blocker in the league, and getting dunked on like this comes with the job.

To be fair for Gobert, he didn't really establish his position down low. Still, it was an impressive dunk from Parker given that Gobert has impeccable timing in his blocks.

Nonetheless, it was great to see Parker be able to get some elevation on the dunk, considering that he has torn his left ACL twice already during his stint with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Despite getting embarrassed on the play, Gobert and the Jazz still had the last laugh and escaped with the 128-124 victory.

Gobert finished the night with a monster line of 13 points, 17 rebounds, and three blocks. Parker, on the other hand, contributed 15 points and four rebounds off the bench for the Wizards before fouling out.

Parker was acquired by Washington at the trade deadline and is currently enjoying his most efficient stretch so far in his career playing for the Wizards. The former no. 2 overall pick comes off the bench for Washington, but is averaging nearly 27 minutes per contest.

In his 23 games so far with the Wizards, Parker is averaging 15.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists, while shooting at a 53.4 percent clip from the field, which is a career-best.
