The Utah Jazz have shown interest in acquiring Washington Wizards swingman Otto Porter Jr., according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, still looking for an agile three-and-D wing to help them in their quest for a spot in the Western Conference playoffs. Shooting guard Bradley Beal is unlikely to be moved this season, as it's been he who has spearheaded the Wizards' recent seven wins in the last 10 games.

“Wizards star guard Bradley Beal is not going anywhere, which Washington has made adamantly clear, league sources told The Athletic. Depending on how the next week to two weeks shape up, the Wizards could look more aggressively toward moving Otto Porter. The Utah Jazz have been an interested suitor for Porter, league sources said. Beal has helped lead the Wizards to seven wins in their past 10 games, carrying a squad that lost All-Star John Wall to season-ending heel surgery before the New Year.”

The Wizards were rumored to be interested in moving John Wall and Bradley Beal with their season in shambles through the early get-go. They quickly walked that back after things turned around after John Wall went down for the remainder of the season with an injury.

Beal has a tradable contract, while Wall's ginormous multi-year extension has become the stuff nightmares are made of for opposing front offices.

Moving Porter, who has found a key bench role productive after returning from injury, only makes sense given the $53 million still left on his contract between this season and the next. Porter will have a player-option in 2020, but also boasts a 15 percent trade kicker, which could make a potential move all the more difficult.
