Russell Westbrook had himself a game on Monday against the Indiana Pacers. The former league MVP logged an insane stat line for the Wahsington Wizards that has literally never been seen in the league before.

Fred Katz of The Athletic provides some insight on how truly staggering Westbrook's performance was:

That's a pretty insane triple-double and apparently, it's unlike anything we've ever seen in the entire history of the NBA.

Oh and if that wasn't enough, here's another statistical tidbit about Westbrook's numbers:

The Wizards were missing All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal in this one due to a right hip contusion, so it was on Westbrook to carry the Wizards to a victory. So he did just that. Russ finished with 35 points (on 14-of-26 shooting), 14 rebounds, 21 assists, two steals, a block, and four triples. Beal could be out for more time, so Westbrook will need to put this team on his capable shoulders for the time being.

Westbrook also made history on Tuesday as he logged his 16th triple-double for the Wizards. He just shattered the franchise record for most triple-doubles, which previously stood at 15. Right now, the nine-time All-Star is just 19 triple-doubles away from matching the all-time record of the great Oscar Robertson for most career triple-doubles.

More importantly, Westbrook's heroics were not futile. The Wizards defeated the Pacers, 132-124, en route to their second consecutive win. Washington will be back in action on Tuesday against the Charlotte Hornets in the second night of a back-to-back set, and at the pace he's going right now, it wouldn't be surprising if Russ picks up right where he left off.
