Russell Westbrook is having another historic season. The Washington Wizards guard is once again redefining the point guard position by grabbing incredible numbers these past few months that have only been done once in history.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Westbrook has now lead the league in rebounds (406) and assists (403) since the All-Star Break tying the one and only Wilt Chamberlain who did way back in the 1967-68 season.

Why not, right?

Brodie is making sure his first season in DC goes down in history as one of his best seasons in the league. He's once again averaging a triple-double for the fourth time in his career and remains as the league's assists leader with a few regular season games left.

Westbrook is also on pace to tie or even break Oscar Robertson' all-time triple-double tally. He would need two more triple-double outings to tie The Big O's total of 181 career triple-doubles. The Wizards have five games left after their Thursday game against the Toronto Raptors and watching Westbrook's current pace, it won't be surprising if he gets to that number before the season ends.

More impressively, Westbrook is doing all these things to help his team win some games. Contrary to all the haters saying that Russell Westbrook is just padding his stats, Russ' teams have won 75% of their games whenever he tallies a triple-double. His impressive form has definitely helped propel the Wizards back to playoff contention as they cling on to the 10th spot for a chance to book a ticket to the play-in tournament.
