Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal is no stranger to getting into beef and he has found a new target now in fellow big man and Washington Wizards center Dwight Howard.

O'Neal famously feuded with teammate Kobe Bryant for years, even after winning three championships with him. The TNT host is also consistently trading verbal jabs with co-host Charles Barkley. So this latest exchange with Howard doesn't come as a surprise.

Howard kick-started the beef by claiming he wanted a roast battle with O'Neal, commenting on Instagram:

“We can have a roast battle if you want. I got 10 in the chamber for you lol”

Shaq responded quickly, insisting Howard isn't even in his division because of the Wizards big's lack of championship rings.

Although this could be perceived as a low blow, the four-time championship winner has a point.

Howard has been ridiculed in the recent years for not living up to his potential. He is one of the strongest players in the NBA and a physical freak, but this hasn't translated to dominance on the court.

After leading the Orlando Magic to the NBA Finals in the 2008-09 season and losing in five games to the Lakers, Howard hasn't come close to the big dance.

He has since bounced around the NBA, playing for the Lakers, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, and his current team in the Wizards.

The best players in the league do not switch teams so often and so rapidly, and this shows that Howard has not produced enough to be valuable for a team to make a long-term investment in him.

Hopefully, Howard can regain form in Washington and once again become one of the most dominant big men in the league. For now, he'll just have to deal with O'Neal's roasts.
