Tomas Satoransky's time in Washington, D.C., is over.

The 27-year-old guard bid farewell to the Washington Wizards and Wizards fans in a tweet on Monday, July 1st, thanking his teammates and supporters for his three-year tenure in the nation's capital.

“First of all, thank you #DCFamily, my teammates, fans and all supporters for the last 3 years in the capital city. I appreciate it a lot”

Satoransky went on to say he's excited to be a part of the Chicago Bulls and he's anticipating playing at the United Center in Chicago.

The 6-foot-7 Satoransky from Czechia signed a new, three-year deal with the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. Satoransky, however, will agree to a sign-and-trade with D.C. The Bulls are sending the Wizards draft considerations, per ESPN, including an unprotected 2023 second-round pick, the better of Memphis' and Chicago's 2020 second-round pick, and swapping rights with the Lakers' 2022 second-round pick.

In three seasons and 210 games for the Wizards, Satoransky averaged 6.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game, including 87 total starts. After star point guard John Well went down first with a heel issue then with an Achilles injury, Satoransky started at point guard for the team from late-December 2018 through the rest of the season.

In an unrelated move, the Wizards are also losing Bobby Portis, acquired in their trade with the Bulls that netted them Jabari Parker and sent Otto Porter Jr. to the Windy City.

There has also been speculation that Bradley Beal could be moved, but at this time no trade has materialized.
