Wes Unseld excited about Wizards hot start

Wes Unseld, Wizards, Bradley Beal

The Washington Wizards are off to an impressive 7-3 start to their season. This is the best start that the Wizards have had since the 2014-15 season.

What the Wizards are doing right now is nothing short of impressive. This summer they made plenty of moves catered to the team’s future. They traded Superstar Russell Westbrook to the Los Angeles Lakers and got a big haul back. The players that they have gotten back, including the likes of Kyle Kuzma and Montrezl Harrell, have all played exceptionally well for the Wizards so far.

The Wizards had a great season last year that allowed them to get to the playoffs. They lost early in the playoffs, but this season they look much better and they are looking to get back there and cause some chaos in the Eastern Conference.

Bradley Beal is doing Bradley Beal things as he’s continuing to score at a high rate. If he can continue this play, and the role players that they picked up this offseason can continue doing their thing, the Wizards could be a team like the Hawks last season and surprise the NBA come playoff time.

New head coach Wes Unseld Jr is happy with how his team is playing,

“I think we’ve been able to pull together relatively quickly with so many pieces,” coach Wes Unseld Jr. said. “It’s a lot to ask but for the most part our guys have been great with our effort and locked in with what we are trying to do.”

The Wizards are off to their best start in the past 5 years. They’re going to look to continue their hot play and make some noise this season in the NBA.
