2025 WNBA trade deadline tracker: Following all deals from around the league

The Mystics acquired Jacy Sheldon for Aaliyah Edwards in a deal on Thursday. ClutchPoints gave the trade a C grade.

Aaliyah Edwards -- who was traded from the Mystics to the Sun on Thursday -- won't be available for Connecticut's game on Thursday night against the Sparks, per Emily Adams of the Hartford Courant. 

With just over 30 minutes remaining until the trade deadline, it appears the Sun-Mystics swap of Jacy Sheldon for Aaliyah Edwards may be the only deal completed on deadline day. Although it was a quiet deadline day, there were two previous trades made earlier in the week. As a result, this has been one of the busier deadline weeks in recent memory.

The Sun and Mystics agreed to trade Aaliyah Edwards for Jacy Sheldon on Thursday. According to Alexa Philippou of ESPN, Sheldon was "happy off the court" but wanted to be better utilized on the floor in Connecticut. The trade should give Sheldon what she is looking for. 

The Wings are not expected to make another trade after analyzing their roster, a source tells ClutchPoints. Dallas had interest in adding a forward but ultimately decided against making a deal.

The Storm already acquired Brittney Sykes from the Mystics. Lee Escobedo of Bleacher Report recently suggested that Seattle should consider making another trade. Marina Mabrey and Rachel Banham were listed as "potential targets" in the article. 

The Wings could still make a trade, but it remains to be seen if a deal will come to fruition. A source told ClutchPoints that "work" is still being done with the deadline just a few hours away. 

The Sun are reportedly close to acquiring forward Aaliyah Edwards from the Mystics for guard Jacy Sheldon, Annie Costabile of Front Office Sports reports. Alexa Philippou of ESPN later provided an update on the trade: "The Washington Mystics' Aaliyah Edwards has been traded to the Connecticut Sun, in exchange for Jacy Sheldon and the right to swap Washington's 2026 first-round pick (MIN's) for Connecticut's first-round pick (NY's)."

The Mercury have an open roster spot, but Jeff Metcalfe of azcentral.com reports that there has been "no indication" of the team making a trade before the deadline.

Wings forward Myisha Hines-Allen could draw trade interest ahead of the deadline. However, her contract would make a potential deal coming to fruition difficult. 

Kate Martin was listed as a "possible trade candidate" for the Valkyries, per Jack Maloney of CBS Sports. Martin, who was selected in the expansion draft, could draw the interest of contending teams around the league. 

The Fever may "stay where they're at" ahead of trade deadline, Chloe Peterson of indystar.com reports. Indiana seems to believe in its current roster. Cap space will also surely play a role in the Fever's trade deadline outlook.

The Aces reportedly "had a chance" to trade for Brittney Sykes before the Storm acquired her from the Mystics, an agent said, via Callie Fin of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. 

The Wings are unlikely to trade Arike Ogunbowale, a source previously told ClutchPoints. Anything could happen at the deadline, but the Wings are not actively looking to move the star guard. 

The Mystics traded Brittney Sykes to the Storm for Alysha Clark, Zia Cooke and a 2026 first round pick. ClutchPoints gave the Mystics an A grade for the trade.

The Wings traded DiJonai Carrington to the Lynx for Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson (who was later waived) and Minnesota's 2027 second round pick. ClutchPoints gave the Wings a B- and the Lynx an A- for the deal.

The Dallas Wings "may" look to make one more addition before the trade deadline, a source told ClutchPoints. It's a "50/50" situation at the moment, but Dallas will look to acquire a power or small forward in a potential deal.
