The 2021-22 NBA schedule has been officially released, and we're going to dive into 10 Golden State Warriors games to watch this season.
The first game that's a must-watch for all Dubs fans is opening night. On October 19, the Warriors face LeBron James and the new-look Los Angeles Lakers. It will be the first game seeing Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook go to battle with Westbrook wearing a purple and gold Laker uniform. Anytime these two point guards lace them up together, it's fireworks. Adding King James to the equation will be unimaginable.
The second game to look for is when the Warriors face the Brooklyn Nets. After the latest episode of Draymond Green's show Chips, seeing Kevin Durant play against his former team will be enjoyable as usual. It probably won't create any extra controversy, but the Nets are loaded, and it could be a preview of the NBA Finals.
The third Warriors game you don't want to miss is the meeting with the Phoenix Suns. After the Suns put together a tremendous 2021 season led by Chris Paul, watching him and Curry battle will be fun. As long as both teams are playing well, CP3 and Steph will end up in the MVP conversation.
The next Warriors game you should be excited for is against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers. In a league full of dynamic point guards, Curry always has to bring his A-game. In the last few years, Curry and Lillard have been considered the two best point guards in the NBA. A battle for the number one spot is always a great storyline.
The NBA All-Star Game speaks for itself. After having last season's games without fans, seeing a full arena and all of the outdoor festivities surrounding the weekend will make it feel like the world is back to normal.
The Warriors playing the Philadelphia 76ers will be interesting to witness. They also might look a little different depending on what happens with Ben Simmons. Watching Draymond Green and Company work to slow down Joel Embiid makes this a matchup you don't want to miss.

Seventh on the list is the Chicago Bulls. Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine, and newly acquired DeMar DeRozan should be fun to see against the Warriors: a new, young big three against one of the best big threes assembled in the last decade. If the second half of the Splash Brothers is back healthy, be prepared for a thriller.
The Utah Jazz generally offer a surprisingly but consistently excellent game to watch against the Warriors. Donovan Mitchell and company always give their opponents hell, and Draymond Green usually is asked about Jazz center Rudy Gobert's defensive ability. Green's comments on Gobert usually are factual to him, and his sense of humor creates good social media content.
Second to last is the return of Klay Thompson. The second half of the Splash Brothers haven't played a game since the 2019 playoffs. Seeing Thompson back on the court is going to have Warriors fans thrilled. He's one of the most loved players on the team. He's a fan's dream and an opposing team's nightmare.
The final game you can't miss is the first playoff game. Yes, the Warriors will be back in the playoffs if healthy this season. They've missed the playoffs the last two seasons, and this year they have aspirations of winning it all.
These are the games you can't miss if you're a Warriors fan. There will easily be more than these 10 games to look for, but with new young talent in the NBA and players who relocated to new locations, these are the 10 specific highlights which top the must-see list.
