100 Thieves quickly dispatched FUT Esports at the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Shanghai (2024 VCT Masters Shanghai) playoffs.

The number one-seeded team from the Americas had a quick 2-0 win in this series. 100 Thieves easily sent FUT to the lower brackets of the playoffs after winning their games on Icebox and Bind very quickly. In fact, 100 Thieves only allowed FUT to take seven rounds from throughout the one-sided series.

In Game 1 of the series, 100 Thieves immediately made it known to FUT Esports that they were the number one seed from the Americas for a reason, winning the blink or you'll miss it Icebox game 13-2.

Then, 100 Thieves took quite a bit more time to finish off FUT Esports in Bind. In the end, it was yet another easy game for 100 Thieves as they took Bind 13-5.

In this series, Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban had a monstrous performance in the two maps played. He had 46 kills and seven assists to go with his 348 average combat score (ACS), which is leagues behind his teammates as most of them only got around 24 kills and a team average of 201 ACS.

On another note, Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic told reporters during the post-match interviews that they were pretty confident going against FUT in this series.

“We're pretty confident against FUT,” Bang states during the interview. He then added that they knew FUT's map pool pretty well and, when the game went to Bind, they knew that it was only going to be a matter of 100 Thieves not stepping their foot off the gas.

Blink or You Will Miss 100 Thieves Win in Icebox

To kickstart the playoffs of the 2024 VCT Masters Shanghai, 100 Thieves won the blink or you will miss the first game on Icebox 13-2.

100 Thieves had a really strong start in Icebox as they had a near-perfect 1st half, going 11-1. The North American wasted no time claiming their dominance against FUT in Icebox. This dominance was shown as early as the second round as Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk almost had an ace.

After losing the second pistol round of the game, 100 Thieves closed the first game in Icebox having only played 15 rounds total.

In this game, Eeiu led the team in frags with his 16 kills and five assists on only four total deaths. Not far off were Sean “bang” Bezerra with 15/6/4, Cryocells with 14/9/2, Kelden “Boostio” Pupello with ten kills and six deaths, and Asuna with nine kills, 5 assists, and just four deaths.

As for FUT, the team definitely had an off game considering they were limited to just single-digit kills. The two highest fraggers of the team were none other than Ata “ATA KAPTAN” Tan and Mehmet “cNed” İpek, both of whom got a total of nine kills respectively.

As for the rest of FUT's team, Furkan “MrFaliN” Yeğen and Eray “yetujey” Budak both had four kills while Doğukan “qRaxs” Balaban was the lowest with three.

100 Thieves Finishes FUT Esports in Bind

After a commanding first game on Icebox, 100 Thieves continued their dominance in the second game of the series on Bind. The North American team won Bind 13-5.

The dominant performance of 100 Thieves was simply too much for FUT Esports. Above literally every player on this map, Cryocells transcended everyone on this game as he finished with a jaw-dropping 452 ACS, just 26 points shy of breaking Tyson “TenZ” Ngo's highes LAN ACS record of 478.

He was getting so many kills early on in the game that he was able to use his Orbital Strike twice in just six rounds.  Cryocells eventually ended the game with 32 kills and five assists to his name.
