According to those in the know, JJ Traynor not only had a visit with the Louisville Cardinals recently, but said visit went extremely well.
How do we know Chris Mack made it all sorts of appealing to the young man? Well, tickle me glad you asked, as it was reported on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
As for JJ Traynor, not only do all reputable recruiting service websites list the youngster as a four-star caliber college basketball recruit, but most tend to agree he's one of the 90 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
The Louisville Cardinals enter the upcoming season with one of the best group of freshmen in the entire country. Honestly, maybe only the Memphis Tigers rival Mack with super exciting young talent.
Obviously, Mack is attempting to parlay his recent success on the recruiting trail to more victories on the hardwood, then even more wins by way of scooping up solid players in his recruitment process.
It's an endless cycle of winning for the Louisville Cardinals.
