While a college basketball loving nation still has a full year until it happens, the 2020 Legends Classic lineup at the Barclays Center is now known.

Reporter Jon Rothstein swooped in from the heavens with the scoop.

There will obviously be other teams involved, but as Rothstein mentioned, those four squads will be the headlining programs for the event.

Furthermore, who is playing who is not yet known, but we should find that out in relatively short order.

What's pretty neat about UConn, Notre Dame, USC and Vanderbilt all being involved is that each program should be in a pretty solid spot by the 2020 college basketball season. Especially Vanderbilt, as they will then be in year-two of the Jerry Stackhouse era.

When we find out more information about the 2020 Legends Classic at the Barclays Center we will keep you posted.

We can probably expect a formal announcement soon (or possibly even while you're reading this) since Rothstein likely received the information from people directly involved — suggesting they're just about ready to make it all official.
