We are getting closer to the fantasy football playoffs. If you are serious about winning your league, then this is a crucial time to pay attention and adjust your roster accordingly. This week, there are some added names that should be dropped from your team for Week 11. With that being said, here is your Week 11 fantasy football drop list.

Week 10 saw some injuries to starters like Los Angeles Rams receiver Robert Woods and Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones. Woods will miss the rest of the season and Jones may miss just 1-2 weeks at most. Other than injuries, there are other players that aren't performing well enough to stay on your fantasy football roster. Some players are added to rosters because of potential breakouts. It is difficult to determine if it will actually happen.

Let's take a look at the Week 11 drop list.

2021 Fantasy Football Week 11 Drop List

Fantasy Football Drop List: TOUGH Choices

Mike White – New York Jets

It was very fun while it lasted, but the Mike White show is slowly coming to an end here in Week 11. Jets' usual starter Zach Wilson is scheduled to make his return to the team this week. White will serve as the backup and therefore not be needed in fantasy football any longer. White dominated the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8, throwing for over 400 yards and three touchdowns. That was really his only bright spot on the year but it did get Jets' fan's hopes up for a few weeks.

At this point in the fantasy football season, your main quarterback is probably back from his bye week. That means you only need one QB on your roster going forward. If White or any other backup is there you can go ahead and drop him for a position player that could bring in better value.

Carlos Hyde – Jacksonville Jaguars

Carlos Hyde was added to this list because it doesn't look like his reps are going to increase. Jags' starter James Robinson is dealing with injuries but even so, is still getting a bulk of the carries. Robinson missed Week 9 and Hyde took over the duties. Hyde carried the ball 21 times but only for 67 total yards. That isn't a good fantasy performance at all and he doesn't look to improve on it. If Robinson is healthy, then Hyde is a waste of a roster spot going forward.

T.Y Hilton – Indianapolis Colts

Hilton is dealing with a handful of injuries this season. He and the Colts have been inconsistent this year and it is very difficult to tell if it will improve. Hilton's best game this year came in his first of the season, catching four passes for 80 yards in Week 6. In the other two games he played in he earned a combined five fantasy points. Hilton and the Colts face the number one ranked defense in the NFL in the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Hilton will not do much this week and because of the solid receiving core around him, he likely won't produce much the rest of the season. This is an extremely tough choice because of how valuable Hilton has been in the past, but moving forward it's smart to release him for someone else.

Fantasy Football Drop List: Easier decisions

Tajae Sharp – Atlanta Falcons

Tajae Sharp earned some more reps with the absence of Calvin Ridley. That hasn't mattered much because Sharpe is failing to get targets. His highest targeted game this year is six and he reached over 10 fantasy points for the only time this year, back in Week 8. The Atlanta Falcons may be one of the more inconsistent teams in the league, and QB Matt Ryan has a lot to do with it. Sharpe shouldn't add any value to your roster and you can go ahead and release him for someone more valuable.

Alexander Mattison – Minnesota Vikings

Alexander Mattison is one of the better backup running backs in the NFL. Whenever starter Dalvin Cook is out, Mattison is a must-add to the roster. Mattison has the skillset to be a starter in this league, he just sits behind one of the better running backs in the NFL. Cook is healthy and is playing dominant football. He just played well against the LA Chargers and all signs lead toward him continuing to do so. It's possible you keep Mattison in case Cook does get injured again, but you could find better value somewhere else.

Jeremy McNichols – Tennessee Titans

The injury to Derrek Henry saw a massive increase to Jeremy McNichols for fantasy football. That kind of all went down the drain when the Titans signed Adrian Peterson to replace Henry. It seems as if Peterson will be the lead back and goal-line back going forward. McNichols gets reps every game but doesn't produce enough to be fantasy football worthy. His highest game this year earned him 16.5 fantasy points where he had eight receptions back in Week 4. Since then he hasn't reached seven points. You can go ahead and release McNichols until he earns more reps.
