The San Francisco 49ers have been on a roll lately, having won each of their last three games to sneak into the NFC playoff picture. Despite their winning ways, speculation has still been swirling about quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance. 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk appeared on the Pat McAfee show and shared his galaxy brain take on Garoppolo and Lance.

That's an interesting take that hasn't been heard before. There was some speculation that Lance's presence on the 49ers would have the opposite effect on Garoppolo, but Juszczyk is here to say that that is not the case.
Not only that, but Juszczyk says that there hasn't been any awkwardness between Garoppolo and Lance, which is excellent for the 49ers because situations like these don't always go so smoothly.
So, not only does Garoppolo hear the noise about how he's ultimately going to be replaced by Lance, but Juszczyk is saying that it's actually driving Garoppolo to be a better player for the 49ers.
There's certainly some evidence to back up Juszczyk's claim here, as Garoppolo has thrown for five touchdowns and just one interception while leading the 49ers to three straight victories, even as the Lance rumors have continued to swirl.
If Kyle Juszczyk is ultimately right about Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance, then the 49ers and their fans will hope that it continues to drive Garoppolo, and the team, to greater heights.
