The third week of the NFL season is expected to be packed with multiple games that could have a ton of fantasy football implications. Among them, the most anticipated game of the week is between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs.

In the contest, it will be Lamar Jackson squaring off against Patrick Mahomes in a battle between two of the most talented young quarterbacks in the NFL. Through two weeks into the season, Jackson leads all quarterbacks in fantasy points; while Mahomes has the third-most fantasy points.

Along with the Ravens and Chiefs game, there are other matchups that could exude some excitement for your fantasy football team. With that being said, here are five fantasy football bold predictions for Week 3.

5. Frank Gore Will Outscore the Cincinnati Bengals Backfield

The Buffalo Bills are in risk of being without rookie Devin Singletary in their offense on Sunday. Regardless of his status, the Bills are expected to insert Frank Gore as their starting running back against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Over the first two games of the season, the Bengals have been susceptible to opposing team's rushing attacks. After facing the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati has allowed an average of 40.8 fantasy points to running backs (most in NFL).

In light of that, Gore will be able to be excessively productive in an offense that has averaged 139.5 rushing yards per game (ninth-most in NFL). On Sunday, the veteran running back will outscore the entire Bengals backfield in terms of fantasy points.

4. Aaron Rodgers Will be the Highest-Scoring Quarterback

The Green Bay Packers offense hasn't played up to par through the first two weeks of the season. Under new head coach Matt LaFleur, the Packers have scored just 31 points on offense.

This week, Green Bay will be hosting the Denver Broncos, who have a familiar face as their new head coach. Prior to becoming the head coach in Denver, Vic Fangio served as the Chicago Bears' defensive coordinator from 2015-2018.

When Rodgers faced Fangio during his time in Chicago, the gunslinging quarterback has combined for 14 touchdowns and two interceptions in the past seven meetings. After being irrelevant in fantasy football in the first two weeks, Rodgers will lead all quarterbacks in scoring in Week 3.

3. Daniel Jones Will Outscore Jameis Winston

Earlier in the week, the New York Giants announced their decision to start Daniel Jones under center. Eli Manning will head to the bench as Jones attempts to give New York's offense a much-needed boost.

On the other side, everyone is extremely interested in starting Jameis Winston against the mediocre secondary of the Giants. The Giants have given up the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks in the 2019 season.

As much as Winston could have a high-scoring performance in Week 3, he will be outplayed by the rookie signal-caller out of Duke. New York will feed off of the energy of a new face under center and their defense will have their best game of this season.

2. Todd Gurley Will Lead All Running Backs in Fantasy Points

At the completion of two weeks of the season, Todd Gurley has severely underperformed for his fantasy owners. Compared to his previous seasons, the Los Angeles Rams featured back is projected to have one of his least productive seasons.

Currently, Gurley is the 18th highest scoring running back in fantasy football. After his injury scare to his knee, the Rams have begun to utilize Malcolm Brown more in their offense.

Despite that, Los Angeles will be traveling to take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football in Week 3. On primetime, Sean McVay will elect to use Gurley more often on Sunday. As a result, Gurley will be the highest-scoring performer at the running back position in Week 3.

1. Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes Will Both Score Fewer Than 25 Fantasy Points

The most popular choices at quarterback in Week 3 are Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes. Both up and coming star quarterbacks will square off against one another on Sunday.

As previously mentioned, Jackson and Mahomes are both in the top three of fantasy scorers at quarterback in the first two weeks of the season. For the number one bold prediction of the week, let's go against the grain.

Everyone believes we'll have a high-scoring affair between the Ravens and Chiefs but what if they disappoint? Furthermore, both Jackson and Mahomes will both score under 25 fantasy points on Sunday for the first time of the season.
