One of the soonest titles to be released coming out of the Sony PlayStation Showcase 2021 is the Alan Wake Remastered. The Alan Wake Remastered release date is confirmed to be on October 5, 2021. The trailer showed just how much the graphics improved, but we also hope that the game will also have improved controls. The original title had a little wonky control scheme, but that did add to the game's atmosphere a bit. Whichever is the case, we're sure that this remastered version of Alan Wake for the PS5 will be a hit once again.
Alan Wake follows the story of the writer's blocked titular character, who experiences a series of nightmares while on a vacation with his wife. Various perils meet him at every turn, with scenes paying homage to a lot of film tropes in the movie industry. Fans of great story-telling and horror or suspense will have a great time reliving Alan's nightmares in PS5. More Alan Wake, less product placements. What a time to be alive.
And lest fans forget, the Alan Wake TV series is still in development, something that we'll surely enjoy watching after finishing Alan Wake Remastered all over again.
