Australia has started the 2016 Rio Games off strong, going 2-0 in the first couple of games without a problem.

That may change since their next game will be their ultimate test according to center Andrew Bogut.

Bogut spoke to ESPN regarding the Australian National team's upcoming game against the U.S. Men's basketball team.

It's the ultimate test. They're the best team in the world, best players in the world, so I think if we go out there with the right mindset and compete with them, win or lose, we'll be happy with that.

If we go out there and we're intimidated by them and try and get our shoes signed before the game and a signed jersey, we're in the wrong mindset.

Bogut is starkly against looking at Team USA as a bunch of celebrities, and more as an opponent he believes can be beaten.

Team USA has gone undefeated, running an impressive 65 game winning streak since the start of the 2008 Olympic games in London, when the US formed the Redeem Team.

Bogut is not unrealistic about his team's chances of winning, but he is concerned about competing and believes they will be a challenge with a cast of their own NBA players on the roster.

Put a million dollars on it and you'd probably get a dollar back if you bet on 'em. So it's a great challenge for us. It really gets us in a mindset of seeing what we gotta do to make our offense better and our defense better.

Australia faces off against Team USA on Wednesday at 6 p.m. EST.
