Like his teammate LeBron James, Los Angeles Laker superstar Anthony Davis debuted a new tattoo in honor of the late Kobe Bryant.

Tattoo artist Vanessa Aurelia took to her Instagram to show off the new ink she created for Davis. Davis' tattoo features Bryant's Black Mamba logo being coiled around by an actual black mamba snake.

As for James' tattoo, it also featured a black mamba snake but was wrapped around the numbers eight and 24, the two jersey numbers that Bryant wore throughout his 20-year career.

Bryant passed away this past weekend in a tragic helicopter accident in Calabasas, California. The untimely crash also took the lives of Bryant's 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other passengers who were on their way to a basketball game.

James and Davis are just two of many NBA players who have found ways to honor the Laker legend. Some players have changed their jersey numbers, dedicated performances to Kobe Bryant or worn specific apparel while certain teams have taken 24-second and eight-second shot clock violations to start games or created tribute videos.

On the court, Anthony Davis has been a dominant force for Los Angeles. Just being named to his seventh All-Star game in eight seasons, the 26-year-old power forward is averaging 26.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 50.9 percent from the field and 31.5 percent from beyond the three-point arc.

As a team, both James and Davis have allowed the Lakers to become one of the NBA's top groups for the first half of the season. At 36-11, the Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference.
