Back 4 Blood‘s release date is on October 12, 2021, simultaneously coming out on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Those who bought the special editions of the game should be able to access the game now, a little earlier compared to others. For those wanting to try the game out, it's also going to be part of Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Back 4 Blood is the spiritual successor of Left 4 Dead 2, made by the same team of developers working under Valve almost a decade ago. Turtlerock Studios has since left Valve and established their own indie company, with Back 4 Blood promising to be the continuation of their work on Left 4 Dead. So far, fans have been receptive to the game, with the beta test runs for Back 4 Blood receiving considerable coverage and feedback from fans. We'll just need to see now how it will perform commercially and critically once it gets released in a couple of days.
