Barcelona is reported to have an interest in Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak in case Erling Haaland is unavailable next summer.

Erling Haaland still appears to be on Barcelona's radar with his $103 million release clause enticing many top clubs around Europe including the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United. Though it remains unclear how the Blaugrana will be able to afford the Norwegian star amid their financial crisis.

The 22-year old Swedish striker created a buzz around his name last season after scoring 17 goals in 34 league appearances, finishing 6th in the top goal scorers tally. ESPN sources have reported that Alexander Isak could be a more budget-friendly signing for Barcelona if they choose to bolster their attack.

Despite having yet to score this season in La Liga with regard to the striker being hampered by a hamstring injury, Real Sociedad has blossomed onto the top of the league standings ahead of favorites Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

Other than Isak, Barcelona is also showing interest in Raheem Sterling's services should he continue to be displeased with his current situation at Manchester City. Barcelona fans will be hopeful that the club will be able to sort out its financial woes so that Barca could once again return to its former glory among the best clubs in Europe.
