Bayern Munich just won their 10th Bundesliga title in a row, but they could very well lose the heart and soul of their attack this summer. Robert Lewandowski reportedly wants to leave the club and embark on a new journey elsewhere, with Barcelona waiting for him with a three-year deal ready to be signed.

Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić confirmed on Saturday that Lewa is interested in departing, but also said he still has a contract that runs until 2023. That being said, the player himself claims he might've just played his last game for the Bavarians. Via Fabrizio Romano:

“It’s very possible that this was my last game for Bayern. I cannot say that at 100%, but it may have been [my last game]. We want to find the best solution for me and for the club.”

“I won’t sign a new contract. We have to find the best solution for both sides. I told the club that if an offer comes in, then we have to think about it – also for the club.”

Lewandowski initially wanted a three-year extension from Bayern but because of his age, they weren't willing to commit that many years to the striker. That's when Barcelona started to show interest and the Pole evidently wouldn't mind taking his talents to the Camp Nou.

At this point, it feels like a serious reality Robert Lewandowski will move on. That could mark the end of a fantastic eight-year stint at Bayern, where he's scored 238 goals in 253 appearances. Clinical.
