It was made official Thursday that Deshaun Watson has requested a trade from the Houston Texans. Shortly after the news of Watson's trade request, Allen Robinson sent a cryptic tweet that could be connected to his future with the Chicago Bears.

You be the judge:

In recent weeks, the writing was on the wall for Watson to ask to be traded from the Texans due to the ineptitude of the organization. At the same time, all signs point toward Robinson leaving the Bears in free agency in hopes to find greener pastures.

Earlier this month, when speaking about his impending free agency, Robinson made it clear that Chicago had ample opportunities to get a deal done. But the two sides weren't able to come to an agreement on an extension, and Robinson doesn't seem interested in playing on the franchise tag for the Bears.

Provided that, Robinson's tweet could have to do with possibly having the chance to play with Watson elsewhere, with the New York Jets being an obvious candidate. If Chicago doesn't place the franchise tag on Robinson, he'll be given the chance to sign wherever he likes, finally allowing him to play with a talented quarterback.

On the other hand, perhaps Robinson would be happier in Chicago if the franchise is able to swing a trade for Watson. While they're not one of Watson's preferred teams, the Bears could look to right a wrong and attempt to bring the talented quarterback in the fold after passing on him in 2017.

Throughout his career, Robinson has had to catch passes from Blake Bortles, Chad Henne, Mitchell Tubisky, and Nick Foles. Despite the quarterbacks — or lack thereof — Robinson has played with, he has put together three seasons of 80-plus catches and 1,100-plus yards since he came into the NFL in 2014.

It remains to be seen if Robinson's tweet has anything to do with the news involving Watson in Houston. With that being said, the timing of Robinson's tweet is definitely interesting.
