Former NBA player Ben Gordon was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles on Thursday morning for falsely activating a fire alarm.
According to a piece made by TMZ, the 34-year-old Connecticut product was apparently locked out of his apartment and started to activate alarms inside the building, which led to LAPD responding to what they thought was a fire. When they found Gordon, there wasn’t one, and he was arrested immediately.

His meltdown resulted to him being taken into custody and is expected to be charged with a misdemeanor.
The 6-foot-3 guard played 11 seasons in the NBA with four different franchises. He was the third overall pick in the 2004 draft by the Chicago Bulls, and won the Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2005. During his prime, he was considered as one of the better shooters in the league, with the ability to break down the defense and drive to the basket when needed.
Gordon has not released any statement yet about his arrest, but it’s expected that there will be one made by him or his representatives soon.
