The Philadelphia 76ers are finally looking like a real NBA team. Gone are the days when virtual unknowns are a common sight on the roster.

It all started when the team selected Ben Simmons. The multi-talented forward’s arrival in Philadelphia mean that a new era has come. Croatian forward Dario Saric followed suit, and Joel Embiid is finally looking like he’s going to step on the court for the first time.

But Simmons is still the centerpiece, and he knows it. As such, the young Australian is looking to fine-tune his game as the regular season draws closer, per Jessica Camerato of CSNphilly.com.

Ben Simmons repeatedly emphasized at summer league he wanted to work on “everything” leading up to training camp.

This year’s first overall pick did specify which aspects he is looking to improve.

I think just getting in the gym and making sure I’m getting reps up, shooting-wise, dribbling. The weight room as well, making sure I get my strength back and my weight up.

Simmons impressed during the Summer League after showing that he indeed has a high basketball IQ, and his teammates are sure to benefit from his penchant for making those sneaky passes.
