Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons played at LSU for only one year before entering the 2016 NBA draft.

That being said, it does not particularly mean a player needs to be in his classes as the “one and done rule” does not specify that. With fans being aware of it, players like Simmons occasionally get trolled for their GPA scores.

And as the top pick of this year's draft vented out about the presidential debate on Wednesday night, one of his followers pointed out his failed classes in college. But instead of just letting it slide, the 19-year-old Australian gave out a witty reply that was eventually deleted but wasn't going to be wiped out of internet history anyway.

Simmons made it clear that he is not embarrassed to admit his poor grades as his only goal was to make it to the NBA. He also showed that he can produce a good laugh from a comeback like that even at his own expense.

Simmons may be following the footsteps of his teammate and social media star, Joel Embiid, as he seems to be quite active with his Twitter account as well, coming up with comedic posts from time to time.
