The Buffalo Bills have had a rough season but luckily, they're still in the heat of the playoff race. We'll see if they can get back on track on Sunday, as they take on the Carolina Panthers. However, Josh Allen and the team received bad news, as Emmanuel Sanders' status isn't looking good.

According to Around the NFL, Emmanuel Sanders's knee injury isn't healing as the team had hoped. As of right now, the veteran receiver is doubtful for the Bills' game against the Panthers.

Luckily for the Bills, Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley are still available. Additionally, Gabriel Davis has stepped up recently for Buffalo. Losing Sanders is not ideal, but Buffalo has the depth to maintain consistency through the air.

Sanders has been a reliable target for Allen this year. Even so, the Bills will be losing some veteran leadership on Sunday. The Carolina Panthers are desperate for a win and they'll be doing everything possible to upset Buffalo.

It'll be interesting to see how this game plays out. Both franchises are in a must-win scenario with the playoffs creeping closer and closer. Carolina has nearly fallen apart as the Cam Newton experiment didn't pan out as they hoped. On the other hand, the Bills have struggled in games they've needed to win.

Keep an eye on Josh Allen and the offense. Allen is coming back from an injury of his own, but the Bills are confident he'll play on Sunday. Look for Diggs to play a key role against the Panthers, as he's easily the best pass option in Buffalo.
