The Buffalo Bills lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime of their divisional round showdown on Sunday, but they certainly can't blame Josh Allen for that.
In fact, Allen was a major bright spot for the Bills throughout the game, giving everything he can to propel the team to victory. Had the Buffalo not collapsed in the end and allowed the Chiefs to force overtime and win, everyone would be celebrating the 25-year-old QB as the hero of the game.
According to Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN, Allen became the first player with four passing touchdowns and zero interception in back-to-back playoff games. Yes, not even Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady and other legendary QBs were able to accomplish that.

Josh Allen went viral after the game for his emotional reactions to the sudden turn of events–from the Chiefs tying the game and forcing OT to actually winning it. However, no one can deny the brilliant performance he put up to lead the Bills.
It was undoubtedly a frustrating outcome for a team that has exceeded expectations and shown that they should not be underestimated. But if there is anything positive they can take away from the loss and the whole playoffs, it is the fact that they are in good hands with Allen leading the way.
If the Bills can surround Allen with more weapons and improve the defense, then it might not be long before fans see the in the Super Bowl.
