Von Miller hit the news cycle not too long ago after assault allegations began floating around. As a result, the Buffalo Bills' star pass rusher turned himself in to the police and handled the situation internally. However, he's been rather quiet about the alleged incident from the get-go.

Now, Miller finally breaks his silence on the whole ordeal. As a result, the Bills' star calls the assault allegations “100 percent false,” according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

“Whenever you see that stuff pop up in articles and stuff, it's shocking, of course, especially when my name is attached to it. It is 100 percent false, it's overblown. . . . I know who I am, I know my character, I know the type of person I am, I know me and my girlfriend's relationship. [I hope] everything will be cleared up [and I have] the right people on the job.”

The alleged incident was first reported in late November. Those reports claimed the Bills' star allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend. However, she claims everything was “a huge misunderstanding,” per Rebecca Lopez and Ryan Osborne of WFAA via a text exchange they had with Miller's girlfriend.”

“‘We're fine. Things were blown way out of context. This is actually outrageous!' She called the incident ‘a huge misunderstanding' and described it as ‘a verbal disagreement. No one assaulted anyone,' she texted. ‘This is insane. And sad.'”

The alleged incident is still ongoing as Von Miller and his girlfriend are still not cleared. The Dallas Police Department is likely continuing its investigation until further notice. Until then, Miller will finish the 2023 season playing for the Bills.
