The Buffalo Bills featured a top-tier defense in 2021 which recently grew even stronger thanks to their recent signing of linebacker Von Miller. The Bills defense was already elite and the Miller acquisition only makes them more intimidating. It will be quite the change for Miller, given the fact that he has only played in Denver and Los Angeles in his career.
While fans of the Bills are undoubtedly excited to have him on their side, Miller himself seems pumped up to be heading to Buffalo as well. Miller sent the following message to Bills Mafia after inking the contract with Buffalo.
“I’m coming to Buffalo. Bills Mafia, what’s good?”
A video was also shared from his Instagram that showed Miller explaining how he enjoyed his time in Los Angeles, but was heading to Buffalo to join the Bills.
The 32-year old inked a lengthy six-year deal with the Bills worth $120 million dollars on Wednesday. That many years is risky for a player of Miller's age, but it speaks to how much Buffalo values him as a player. He should fit right in with the Bills aggressive defensive unit.
The future Hall of Famer has established an impressive reputation over the course of his ten year NFL career. Von Miller has made 8 Pro Bowl Teams and has been named a First-Team All-Pro on three separate occasions during his time in the league. Additionally, he is one of the most well-respected people in football.
Although he is not the same player that he once was, Miller still played a vital role in helping the Rams win the Super Bowl this past season. He will look to accomplish the same feat in Buffalo in 2022-2023.
