During Saturday’s game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Milwaukee Bucks inside the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the home team came into the game prepared to limit Damian Lillard’s production, knowing how much impact he brings to Portland's overall performance.

However, the Bucks appeared to have a different kind of appreciation for the two-time All-Star as well, as they also like his music and rapping skills. The arena was filled with the sound of one of his tracks during warm-ups, which was received well by the crowd on hand. After Lillard was trolled two years ago and was called a “Soundcloud rapper,” they showed on the night that they support his career in the music industry now.

Damian Lillard released his second album in the offseason, and has since fared well in the Billboard charts, including in the emerging artists list. He is considered the best rapper in the NBA today, and continues to prove that with the success of his latest E.P.

His venture into making music is continuing to draw a lot of praise not only from his fellow players, but also from other rap artists. Lil Wayne even collaborated with Lillard in one track, which goes to show that he also believes in the Blazers star's talents on the mic.

Damian Lillard and the Blazers, however, ended the night in disappointment after losing a close one to the Bucks behind the inspired MVP-level play of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
