Damian Lillard took to social media to laugh in the faces of pundits who once doubted Luka Doncic as a legitimate NBA talent.

The Portland Trail Blazers star quote tweeted a video montage of Doncic doubters with a mere “Lol” caption to describe his emotions after Doncic put up 43 points, 17 rebounds, and 13 assists in a Game 4 overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers, including a game-winning 3-pointer that tied the series at 2-2.

The likes of FOX Sports' Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe, Colin Cowherd, and Chris Broussard make up just some of the who's who of uneducated basketball commentary in this clip, claiming Doncic's lack of speed and athleticism would be his downfall in the NBA.

It's hilarious to watch back:

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith also makes a small cameo in this video with this statement: “I don't give a damn about how this kid in Europe looks.” Smith begged the Phoenix Suns not to mess up their 2018 NBA Draft selection, putting Deandre Ayton as a no-brainer.

The Suns indeed drafted Ayton, who has developed into a potential 20-10 force, but it is the Sacramento Kings who have gotten the bulk of the flak for passing on the chance to select the nightly triple-double threat.

Luka Doncic has surprised many by turning into an outside MVP candidate in his second year in the league, and he's showing his mettle early in the playoffs by giving the Clippers all they can handle and maybe more than they can chew.

Lillard, who has faced Doncic several times since he came into the league, knows these pundits will have to eat their words soon enough, especially if Doncic can upset a title favorite like the Clippers in the coming days.
