The Portland Trail Blazers are looking to extend their win streak to four games later tonight, as they take on the Houston Rockets on the road. Their chances of doing that just got a shot in the arm, as it has been reported by Blazers beat reporter Casey Holdahl that point guard Damian Lillard is all set to suit up after sitting out the last two games.

Lillard did not dress up for the Blazers home game against the San Antonio Spurs last Sunday. He also did not play versus the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Despite not having the services of Lillard, the Blazers were able to win those two games, thanks in large part to the efforts of CJ McCollum and Shabazz Napier. McCollum saw his usage rate go up during Lillard’s absence, as he averaged 26.0 points on 51.2 field goal shooting percentage. Napier, meanwhile, stepped up after getting a temporary starting role. The former UConn Husky put up 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists over the last two contests.

With Lillard back, however, Napier is expected to slide back to the bench. He should still see an ample amount of time on the floor, as Portland might put a minute restriction on Lillard.

Lillard is the Blazers’ top scorer this season. He is generating 24.9 points to go with 4.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists in 33 games played thus far. The former Weber State standout last played on Friday, when he scored 14 points on 6-of-15 shooting in 29 minutes of action during a 110-89 home win against the Atlanta Hawks.
