Apart from being one of the best basketball players in the world, Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard also dabbles into music from time to time. Dame's two worlds collided recently when he turned into a basketball coach for critically acclaimed rapper Cardi B.

As seen in the latest episode of the hip hop artist's hit online show #CardiTries, Lillard held a mini-camp for children with Cardi B also joining them in a bid to learn how to hoop.

Dame Dolla was pretty hyped about the project as he shared the teaser on his social media accounts.

Damian Lillard showed Cardi B the basics, starting from dribbling, passing, and shooting the basketball. The entire camp was also immersed in the importance of fundamentals as they worked on the importance of footwork and hand and eye coordination.

Cardi B did pretty actually, as she was hitting baskets in no time under Dame's guidance. Here's the full clip.

The unlikely duo even played some good old HORSE, with Lillard's team ended up winning after he drained a half-court shot. In his spare time, the 5-time Blazers All-Star goes by his rap name Dame D.O.L.L.A., which stands for Different On Levels the Lord Allows. The Blazers guard has already shown his lyrical prowess in his debut album in 2016 called The Letter O, followed by his second album Confirmed released the following year.

While a lot of NBA players also release their own mixtapes, Lillard is considered by most as the best rapper among professional ballers. Meanwhile, he continues to do his thing on the court in the 2020-21 season,  averaging 23.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.2 dimes in the Blazers' first four games.
