The basketball world was buzzing after it was announced that the Portland Trail Blazers had acquired Jerami Grant from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for a 2025 first-round pick. This was a huge win for the Blazers, but apparently, not everyone on the team was happy.
Blazers swingman Josh Hart caught wind of the big news from Wednesday night, and he had quite a hilarious reaction to the trade. Hart's main concern right now is that according to SportsCenter, he's going to have to give up his No. 11 jersey to his new teammate:
“Damn why he got to have my number?” Hart wrote in his tweet.

That's obviously just a Photoshopped image of Grant in a Blazers jersey, but Hart hilariously took exception to the fact that they used his No. 11 jersey for the photo. Surely, Grant will need to pick a different number once his move is official. Right?
All jokes aside, however, I'm pretty sure that Hart and the rest of the Blazers are pretty happy with this deal. Grant has the makings of a game-changer for Portland, and the fact that they practically got him for a steal makes the trade even sweeter.
Over the past two seasons with the Pistons, Grant produced averages of 20.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 blocks, while also connecting on 2.0 triples per game.
