Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic fired back at Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook following their game Tuesday night.

During a postgame interview, Westbrook was seen in a video calling Nurkic a “clown.” The Thunder superstar was asked about his thoughts on fighting screens set by Nurkic. The former NBA Most Valuable Player said that he will not talk about the “clown” and asked the reporters to proceed to the next question.

Jusuf Nurkic took to Twitter to respond to Westbrook's name calling. The Bosnian center mocked Westbrook's shooting struggles this season.

Russell Westbrook and Jusuf Nurkic had some moments during their showdown on Tuesday night. Nurkic blocked Westbrook in one play, and the latter was seen laughing after the swat.

Westbrook had the last laugh, though, as the Thunder ran away with a 123-114 win over the Blazers. The 30-year-old superstar finished with 29 points to go along with 14 assists and 10 rebounds for the Thunder.

Paul George also had a big night for OKC, finishing with 36 points and eight rebounds. The superstar forward also tallied five steals, four assists, and a block in 38 minutes. Steven Adams finished with 14 points, Dennis Schroder added 13 markers, while Jerami Grant ended up with 11 points.

Nurkic also had a productive game with 22 points and 15 boards. Damian Lillard, who also had a heated argument with Westbrook during the game, racked up 31 points to go along with eight assists, five rebounds, and five steals. CJ McCollum finished with 31 points for the Blazers.

Oklahoma City improved to 29-18 to remain third in the Western Conference standings. Portland, on the other hand, dropped to 29-20, but the Blazers are still fourth in the West.
