The Blazers are making moves in a lot of directions this summer. On one hand, reports are constantly circulating of the team's desire to win now and land a superstar to pair with Damian Lillard. On the other hand, they are getting younger, drafting Shaedon Sharpe with the 7th pick in this year's draft. Through all of the Blazer's offseason plans, they still didn't forget Jusuf Nurkic.

Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Nurkic will resign with Portland on a 4-year, $70 million deal to remain with the team that traded for him back in 2016.

Nurkic has always been a central figure in Portland's core since arriving eight season ago. After struggling with injuries for an extended period of time, Nurkic played the most games since the 2018 season this year, averaging 15 points and 11 rebounds.

With rumblings that the Trailblazers roster is barreling towards big changes, a familiar face like Nurkic could be comforting for Blazers fans. At just 27 years old, the Bosnian national is just now entering the prime of his career. If Portland makes a return to playoff contention, he will likely make an incredible impact if he remains healthy.

There are still plenty of offseason moves to be made by Portland and the rest of the league. Regardless, Trailblazers fans can sleep tight knowing Nurk will take the floor wearing red, white and black next season.
